New Cypriot Ambassador Elected to Athens
Today resulted in the decision by The Cypriot Council of Ministers to elect former Education Minister Kyriakos Kenevezos, as the Ambassador of Cyprus in Athens.
His term will begin on July 1st, and complete at the same time
Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades steps down from office.
As reported in an official Ministerial press release, the Council also authorized Tasos Tzionis as their Ambassador in Rome, Nearchos Palas to the Bratislava Embassy, Stavros Loizides to the Brazilia Embassy, Evangelos Savva to the Helsinki Embassy, Stavros Avgoutstides to the Sofia Embassy and Maria Papykyriakou to the Copenhagen Embassy. Each new post has been approved by the respective host nations.
