Samaras Encourages European Parliamentary Voting
Late last night, Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras declared: "positive and indisputable results", regarding the initial round of elections, to reporters.
He confirmed that local elections will be finalized on May 25th, during its second round. The Prime Minister stressed the importance for Hellenic citizens to participate in the European Parliamentary elections, held May 25th.
According to ANA-MPA, Samaras stated: "Next Sunday we also have the battle of Europarliamentary elections...where we must show that Greece has the stability it has won...It is in the hands of Greeks, either to contribute so the Greek people have the security (that we need to) forge ahead with stable steps or let the country slide backwards".
