Power Network Announces State of Emergency
The Hellenic Electricity Transmission System has announced a nationwide state of emergency along with an orange alert, due to PPC worker's continuing rollout strike.
The orange rank is the initial warning when a voltage or frequency is interrupted. Public Power Corporation filed an appeal to the Athenian courts, requesting that the GENOP union strike be deemed as illegal. A decision is predicted to be announced tomorrow.
