Parliament Authorizes Tourism Bill

During a Greek Parliamentary session vote today, a tourism draft bill was passed, according to reports.

The bill centers on streamlining tourism licensing processes by bettering offered services, controlling red tape and improving specialized tourism venues.

Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni described, "The human and economic resources available to us will be directed at ensuring product quality. Officials will not longer be involved with checkings and lengthy bureaucratic procedures”, as reported by ANA-MPA.
