PM Samaras Doesn't Envision Snap Elections

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras stated to his party's MPs that he doesn't believe the nation will conduct snap elections in early 2015, regarding a new presidential election, according to reports.

Samaras spoke off the record to New Democracy delegates after an 1974 democracy restoration exhibition, as reported by Kathimerini. The Prime Minister commented: "It looks like we are not heading toward elections. It seems we have the 180 [the number of deputies that need to approve the election of the President]".
