N.Y. Greek American is undefeated – Its Academies also won

The historic N.Y. Greek American team on Saturday night, November 15, 2025 won its 9th consecutive victory and gave unique moments to the executives and members of the team who attended one of the most beautiful matches.
This was one of the difficult matches with Lansdowne Yonkers FC that ended with a 1-2.
The fans ignored the rain and the cold and attended the friendly match of the Academies, in which it rained goals that the people say. The match ended 6-0 and this is a very good omen both for the Academies, themselves, and for the historic N.Y. Greek American, because the Academies are its nursery and will provide the leadership with the opportunity to realize the goal of creating a completely Greek team.
The president of the Association, Nikos Bardis, both after the end of the games and during the conversation with “Anamnesis”, expressed his satisfaction for the well-deserved victories.
“As president of our Historical Association, I would like to thank the Board of Directors and the sponsors of our team who support us and provide the resources for the team to remain at the top and give us new trophies”, pointed out the president of Greek American, Mr. Nikos Bardis.
Referring to the double victory of the historical team and the Academies of Greek American, he pointed out that they have aroused the enthusiasm of the executives and sponsors.
"2026 is a milestone for Greek American because we will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the historic club and, most importantly, we will showcase the trophies won by more than three generations of football players," concluded Mr. Bardis.
