Onassis Foundation Hosts Greek Carnegie Hall Concert
To commemorate the end of Greece's European Union Presidency, the President of the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation Dr. Anthony S. Papadimitriou, is holding a "Tetraktys String Quartet & Dionysis Grammenos, Clarinet" concert.
The Tetraktys String Quartet is considered one of the best Greek chamber music ensembles. The group has gained international acclaim and was established in 2008. Clarinetist Dionysis Grammenos is vastly recognized as one of the world's most charismatic artists of the younger generation.
Under the auspices of Ambassador Michel Spinellis, Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations, the performance will be held at Carnegie Hall, Thursday, June 5th at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
