Double Greek Basketball Defeat!
Yesterday's Greek home basketball games resulted in victories, for Panathinaikos and Olympiakos who defeated CSKA and Real Madrid, respectively.
Panathinaikos knocked out CSKA with a final score of 65-59, while Olympiakos beat Real Madrid with a 78-76 end result.
Panathinaikos' best-of-five series standing is now at 2-1. Rebound shots were a vital element of the Greek team's win. Olympiakos supporters were delighted with the game, held at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. The Hellenic team maintained a strong defense strategy in its sweep. The fourth game of the two series concerning the two basketball teams, will happen tomorrow.
