Super League First Round Results in 1-1 Score
Today's Super League first round resulted in both games between Panathinaikos and Atromitos and PAOK versus Asteras Tripolis, with a 1-1 score.
Panathinaikos who won the Greek Cup final four days ago, was winning in the beginning of the match but couldn't keep up its stride. After star Tasos Lagos was injured, Panathinaikos played with ten athletes in the last twelve minutes of the game. PAOK was struggling in its first half of their game between Atromitos, but gained force in the second half.
The play-off tally includes PAOK, Panathinaikos and Atromitos each hold three points and Asteras holds one. The winner will advance to the Champion League qualifiers. The next round will be held on Sunday, where Panathinaikos hosts PAOK and Asteras Tripolis welcomes Atromitos.
