Olympiakos Receives Midfielder Ibrahim Afellay
The La Liga Club announced yesterday that Greek soccer team Olympiakos will receive Dutch midfielder Ibrahim Afellay from Barcelona, for the 2014-2015 season.
In December 2010, the 28-year-old athlete teamed up with Barca from PSV Eindhoven, however he has only played in 35 matches due to an injury.
Afellay played 44 matches for the Netherlands and made five goals, yet he didn't participate in this year's 2014 World Cup. The soccer star was loaned to Bundesliga club Schalke 04 for 2012 to 2013, and is finishing his Barca contract's last year, according to Kathimerini.
