Kalithea’s BARCODE Plans Astoria Location!
Popular Athenian eatery BARCODE is set to open up an American location in Astoria, New York!
According to weheartastoria.com, the cafe, bar and grill whose origins are in Kalithea, are currently renovating a former bakery on the main strip of 30th Avenue. The venue will offer gyros, souvlaki and frappes.
According to BARCODE: “New York meets Athens in a modern, friendly and pleasant atmosphere where together they will embrace two of Greece’s most beloved loves – souvlaki and coffee. BARCODE offers wonderful coffee recipes that are handled with care from our talented baristas. Our experienced chefs prepare for you one of the best souvlaki (gyros) in town. The only ‘code’ that you will ever need is pleasure”.
