Cypriot President Anastasiades Pays Official Visit to Bahrain
Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades is visiting Bahrain in an official capacity.
During his trip, the two nations have ratified bilateral agreements. These include an Avoidance on Double Taxation, that was signed by the Finance Minister of Bahrain and Cypriot Foreign Affairs Minister Ioannis Kasoulides, in addition to an Agreement on Fighting Terrorism and Organized Crime, a Memorandum of Understanding on Air Services, and a Memorandum of Understanding regarding health cooperation with relevant governmental officials, according to Parikiaki.
The Cypriot President met with Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The two nations conducted official meetings at the Manama Palace, which tabled bilateral ties, Bahrain's association with the EU as a whole, the Cyprus issue, financial concerns, and global and regional concerns.
Anastasiades participated in ceremonial events in the nation, including being adorned with The Order of Al Khalifa. An official luncheon was held by the King of Bahrain, which honored the Cypriot President and his leading delegation. In addition, President Anastasiades held a reception that commemorated the Greek-Cypriot community in Bahrain.
