Ashoka Greece Organizes "Innovation for Society" Summit April 29th

The initiative will present six solutions by Ashoka Fellows from the United States, Europe and Africa, while showcasing local Greek projects that have facilitated change. This marks the first Summit by the Ashoka social entrepreneurs, and will offer a collaborative platform that entrepreneurial leaders from around the world can meet with Greek individuals, from the private, public and social sectors.

The goal of the project as stated on its website, "The aim is to inspire the local community by showcasing positive examples of solutions that work and build alliances and with the support of local advisors, strategic partners and local organisations and entrepreneurs, stimulating local replications of these models in Greece. We hope this summit will lead to the creation of cross-sectorial and transnational alliances and commitments that can really contribute to the emergence of a favourable ecosystem for social entrepreneurship in Greece."
