Cypriot Unemployment Rate Decreases
The Cypriot unemployment figure declined this April, marking 15.6%, as confirmed by Eurostat.
In March the unemployment rate was 16.0%, while April 2014 held 16.1%. The seasonally-altered rate in the euro region held 11.1% in April, compared to March's 11.2%, and last April's 11.7%. In April, the EU28 unemployment measurement was 9.7%, which was less than last year's same month that held 10.3%.
Within the EU, Greece held the highest unemployment statistic at 25.4% this past February, while Germany had the lowest at 4.7% this April. In comparison to 2014, this year's April unemployment figure increased in six EU nations and decreased in twenty-two.
