Cypriot President Anastasiades Converses with Tsipras, Pavlopoulos & Merkel
Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades spoke to Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, by telephone today.
According to a written statement by Cypriot Government Spokesman Nikos Christodoulides, "they discussed the issue of Greece and exchanged views on Greece's negotiation with the Institutions, as well as on the possible repercussions on the people of Greece in case no agreement is reached," regarding Anastasiades and Merkel's communications, according to Parikiaki.
Christodoulides added, "It was also emphasized that it is necessary for an agreement to be reached between Greece and the Institutions, as soon as possible, through a constructive dialogue." The Republic of Cyprus President then spoke to Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
