Egypt cooperates with Cyprus in defense industries

Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) Abdel Men’em el-Tarras stressed the importance of cooperation with Cyprus to upgrade defense industries in accordance with the directives of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.
Recently, President Sisi ordered the participation in the development of defense industries in partnership with international expertise.
Tarras’s speech came during his meeting with a high-level delegation from the Cypriot armament authority on Tuesday with the aim of enhancing investment and partnership between the two sides.
The meeting tackled efforts to boost bilateral cooperation in different industrial fields, as well as efforts to localize technology and boost joint industrialization activities.
