Trilateral informal meeting in October in New York on the Cyprus Issue

Representative of the UN Secretary-General, Stefan Dzuzarik, responding to a question from the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, confirmed information about a trilateral informal meeting between the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot sides in the presence of the Secretary-General in October in New York.
“During his recent bilateral meetings in New York, the Secretary-General invited the leader of the Greek Cypriot community, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, and the leader of the Turkish Cypriot Community, Mr. Ersin Tatar, to an informal trilateral discussion in October, to exchange views on the course of the Cyprus problem. Both leaders accepted this invitation. The date of the meeting will be announced in due time,” Dzuzarik said in response to a question
