During his visit to the president of the Greek community, Kanakis Mandalios, who had lost his two children in the tragic 2023 accident in Libya that killed members of the Greek humanitarian mission, Al Sadiq reportedly pointed out to him that the government of the East. Libya "is not turning against Greece" and that in Benghazi they look forward to "continuing cooperation with our country", reports the public television.
In fact, Haftar's son delivered an honorary declaration and a plaque to the president of the Greek community in Libya, in memory of his two children who were lost.
