Greek & Australian Bilateral Work Agreement Signed
Today a bilateral agreement was ratified, that permits Greek citizens to work in Australia on a tourist visa.
Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni signed the act and stated: "...the agreement will come into effect within the next months after being ratified by the Greek parliament".
In its initial stage, the agreement concerns 500 citizens of the younger generation, that focuses on 18 to 30 year-old students, that can attain a one year work permit. If the scheme is deemed a success, it has the possibility to continue, as stated by Australian Immigration Minister Scott Morrison.
