CNN Interviews Former Greek King Constantine II

Leading CNN news anchor Christine Amanpour recently interviewed Greece's Former King Constantine II, regarding Spanish King Juan Carlos' recent relinquishment.

The two spoke of the King's decision to abdicate his reign after 40 years. Constantine II discussed the challenges that face contemporary royalty. The Hellenic King believes that Juan Carlos, who is also his brother-in-law, stepped down at the right time as his son is now eligible to handle the role.

Constantine II stated his belief that Carlos was instrumental in keeping Spain out of extremism and preserved its democratic stance. He feels that Spain has evolved enormously well under his reign.

The dialogue focused on a historical overview of King Juan Carlos' life and Spain's progress during his position. The full CNN's "Former Greek King on Spain's Juan Carlos" segment can be viewed below.
