Greece Supplies UN Palestinian Aid
The Greek Foreign Ministry yesterday declared that it was supplying 500,000 euros to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), to assist the massive humanitarian turmoil currently plaguing Gaza.
The contribution was decided by Foreign Minister and Governmental Vice President Evangelos Venizelos, after the region enacted its ceasefire agreement, according to ANA-MPA.
The ceasefire arrangement now permits aid to enter the territory. Greece also stated via the UNRWA and the EU, that it is apt to take in and offer medical aid to injured Palestinians, specifically its young.
