Onex Shipyards - Israel Shipyards «Shipbuilding Industry Day: The Way Forward – Syros 2020»

Onex Neorion Shipyards in collaboration with the Israel Shipyards have proceeded with a preliminary contract for the co-production and co-development of vessels.
The agreement, mentions that the construction of the vessels will be conducted solely in Greek Shipyards, both at Neorion of Syros as well as any other units acquired by the Group in the future, such as that of Elefsis Shipyards.
On Thursday, February 6th 2020, a joint industrial day will be held, entitled “Shipbuilding Industry Day: The Way Forward- Syros 2020” at Apollon Theater in Ermoupolis, Syros.
During the one-day conference, speeches will be made by prominent personalities of the country, followed by presentations with prospective subcontractors and suppliers.
The main goal of this one-day conference is to increase the participation of the domestic industry in international cogeneration programs, as well as to increase the reputation and recognition of Greek manufacturers. The conference will be organized under the Auspices of the Ministry of Development and Investments, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Insular Policy, the Ministry of National Defense and the U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Embassy in Greece
Following the conference a Buffet Dinner will be held at the Atrium of the Ermoupoli City Hall.
