Greece has submitted two requests for the disbursement of RRF funds, amounting to 1.17 billion euros

Deputy National Economy and Finance Minister for the Recovery and Resilience Facility, Nikos Papathanasis, on Monday submitted two requests to the European Commission for the disbursement of funds from the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), totaling 1.17 billion euros.
These included the 7th request for grants - with Greece being the 3rd country in the EU to reach a seventh request - and the 6th request for RRF loans, covering a total of 26 milestones and targets. Greece has requested the disbursement of 883.9 million euros in grants for the fulfillment of 22 milestones, and 293.8 million euros in loans via four milestones.
To date, the country has received 23.4 billion euros from the Recovery and Resilience Facility. Over the coming period, once an evaluation of the 7th request for grants and the 6th request for loans is completed, total disbursements to Greece will rise to 24.57 billion euros, corresponding to 68.3% of the total funds allocated to the country.
