Ekkomed – Creative Greece at the 10th Thessaloniki Animation Festival

EKKOMED – CREATIVE GREECE, firmly oriented towards supporting audiovisual production and entrepreneurship in Greece, welcomes the fact that the Thessaloniki Animation Festival (TAF) is steadily expanding and creating synergies that bring Thessaloniki to the forefront.

At the same time, it strongly supports the successful institution of the Balkan Animation Forum, which gives the opportunity to creators and animation professionals from the Balkans for networking, interaction, partnerships and education.
The Hellenic Center for Cinema, Audiovisual Media and Creation – Creative Greece applauds TAF's initiative to open up in areas where animation finds new applications, especially in gaming and augmented reality.

The targeted cooperation of EKKOMED – CREATIVE GREECE with the Thessaloniki Animation Festival (TAF) focuses not only on the professional actions of the Festival but also on the extroversion of the sector internationally – thanks to the financial tools of EKKOMED – CREATIVE GREECE – the creative content but also the talent of Greek animators.

This permanent workshop of audiovisual creation goes hand in hand with the main objectives of the Hellenic Center for Cinema, Audiovisual Media and Creation – Creative Greece, which include the strengthening of audiovisual creation, the support of domestic and the attraction of foreign investments and of course the support of the integration of new, digital technologies and innovations in the audiovisual industry of the country.
