Samaras Flies to Israel Today

Greek premier Antonis Samaras will be in Israel this afternoon (local time) with an entourage of more than 100 entrepreneurs and a host of ministers.
Mr. Samaras will go to Jerusalem where the first meeting of the Supreme Ministerial Councilfor Cooperation between Greece and Israel will take place with the participation of twelve ministers from the two countries.
Issues of bilateral collaboration will be tabled at the meeting, with an emphasis on energy.
Bilateral agreements will be signed for closer economic cooperation on many levels, such as tourism and new technologies.
Mr. Samaras will also meet with Israeli president Shimon Peres and Jerusalem Patriarch Theophilos, and in Tel Aviv he will inaugurate the beginning of the Greek-Israeli Business Conference with the participation of over 100 Greek entrepreneurs interested in doing business in Israel.
The PM will be accompanied by the ministers of foreign affairs, development, public order, energy, tourism, culture, merchant marine, education, and the deputy minister of development.
