Sahara dust chokes southern Greece

Dust from the Sahara covered the sky to the east and south of the country, on Sunday.
The atmosphere was stuffy and visibility limited. The reason for this movement of dust were the stormy winds, which by noon on Moday were expected to weaken, and to some extent did so.
Outside Athens, limited visibility due occurred in Kalamata, Chania, Heraklion, Milos, Naxos, Mykonos, Spata, Megara, Eleusis, Ikaria, Skyros, Lemnos Alexandroupolis and Kavala.
The weather however, does not seem to be improving with meteorologists claiming that storms bringing tons of mud rains coming after Wednesday, once again.
