Russian tour operators see year-round tourism

Russian tour operators believe that Russians may visit Crete and Santorini the whole year, only if tour packages change.
According to ATOR (Association of Tour Operators of Russia), the Mayor of Santorini, Mr. Anastassios-Nikolaos Zorzos and the Governor of Crete, Mr. Stavros Arnaoutakis, are trying to extend the tourist season and “attract” winter tourism on the islands.
Mr. Arnaoutakis believes that the extension of tourist season, from 6 to 10 months, is possible.
“Crete has many things to offer, except its beaches”, says Mr. Arnaoutakis.
