Body of 55 year old American found on Mathraki island

The body a a US national that was declared missing on Thursday 13 June was found on a beach near the old port of Mathraki on Sunday.
The 55-year old man was on holidays and was hosted by a Greek-American friend on the island of Mathraki, Othoni complex, Ionian Sea.
The body will be sent to the Hospital of Corfu for autopsy and post mortem examination.
Residents of the island said they have seen the missing man on Tuesday 11 June at a local cafe.
