Tension prevails at this time at Constitution Square, while there was an ongoing rally against ratification of the Agreement with debtorsm in Parliament a few meters away. An unidentified group threw petrol bombs against police forces, who responded with tear gas and stun grenades.
Reportedly the police proceeded earlier to four arrests of anti-authoritarian group "Rubicon" members, that hung banners in front of the headquarters of SYRIZA.
The episodes were started by a group of masked youths that infiltrated the demonstration that was taking place until recently, and has now dissolved because of the incidents.
The previously peaceful demonstration was attended by politicians, civil servant union ADEDY, political clubs, ANTARSY party, and anarchist organizations, and anti-authoritarians.
