The swearing-in ceremony of the new government was completed earlier on Wednesday at the Presidential mansion.
"The course will be difficult, but we have time for planning," stated government Vice President Yiannis Dragasakis leaving the Presidential mansion after the new government was sworn in. Asked about the harsh measures of the new memorandum, Dragasakis said: "The memorandum is not our horizon. The memorandum is something we must do. AFter that, our horizon is a plan for society."
"On Sunday, the Greek people gave us a clear and strong mandate to strengthen the country's future and the lives of the Greek citizens," government spokeswoman Olga Gerovassili said leaving the Presidential Mansion. "We are here to work hard, with responsibility," she added.
