- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Head of Centrists Union, Vassilis Leventis, revealed in the Greek Parliament that Minister of National Defence, Panos Kammenos, uses a helicopter to take him from his house to the Ministry of National Defence… every day!
In particular, Mr. Kammenos uses a Greek Navy helicopter, going from Vari (the location of his house) to Holargos (Ministry of National Defence).
Citizens of Vari have noticed that a helicopter takes off at 7 a.m. and returns by 5 p.m. every day.
The revelation has raised outcries in media and has become the focus of acerbic comments in social media at the ostentatious lifestyle of the minister during this time when the people are being subjected to unbearable austeriry and taxes.
