Kerry in Athens recognizes Greek fiscal efforts

US Secretary of State, John Kerry is having critical government contacts in Athens. "We recognize the efforts of Greece to face the challenges in the economic field - we want to see Greece on the road to growth and will do everything we can to get back it on this," said Kerry, during his meeting with Alexis Tsipras, at the Maximos Mansion.
The Prime Minister stressed that Kerry's trip to Greece is "a critical period". "We are a hub of stability and cooperation in the region," he assured, adding that "we rely on historical ties with the countries of the region to find solutions to overcome the difficulties."
Mr. Kerry is meeting with his Greek counterpart, Nikos Kotzias, with the agenda including security,the refugee crisis, and diplomatic developments triggered by the Russo-Turkish crisis, as well as the economy.
