Mental Health Institutions in an Uproar

Greek psychiatric hospitals are in an uproar over the decision by health minister Adonis Georgiadis to include staff in the mobility measures that will spell layoffs for some.
In the hospitals of Dafni, Dromikaitio, and Thesaloniki Psychiatric Hospital staff included in the measures are up in arms, while the first resignation has been registered.
Dafni hospital manager Othonas Haralambakis tendered his resignation over the issue, while hospital staff assembled at the entrance to the hospital and passed out pamphlets and are convening to see what course they will follow to face the issue.
