Defence Minister to visit hotspots on islands on Tuesday

Defence Minister Panos Kammenos will visit Lesvos, Chios and Leros on Tuesday to inspect the registration and identification centers on the islands which are almost complete, the ministry said in a press release.
Before his visit, he will hold a press briefing to present the progress made in the construction of the so-called hotspots. The ministry also said that the Armed Forces are work intensively to complete the work in all centers within the deadline given to the country, which includes a total of five centers on five islands in the eastern Aegean, as well as two relocation centers in the mainland.
