UN Secretary General Special Representative on Cyprus, Espen Barth Eide, is in Athens on Monday for a meeting with Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias at 16:00.
Kotzias and Eide will focus on the issue of guarantees. The Greek minister has repeatedly said that the system of guarantees should be abolished and the Turkish occupation army must leave the island if a fair and democratic solution of the Cyprus issue is to be found.
