Residents and tourists in the Agathopes region of Syros had the opportunity to see a rare phenomenon on Wednesday afternoon.
Specifically, a huge whirlpool appeared in the sea.

Whirlpools are usually created by water currents meeting from different directions, mainly due to the phenomenon of the tides.
