Mogherini calls on Turkey to respect neighbours

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini called on Turkey to expressly commit to good neighbourly relations and to uphold international agreements.
Mrs. Mogerhini responded to a written question submitted at the European Parliament by Greek MEP Nikos Androulakis, stressing Turkey ahd to solve disputes in accordance to the UN Charter and the International Court. “The European Union has repeatedly expressed its serious concerns and has called on Turkey to avoid any threats or actions that could affect good neighbourly relations and a peaceful solution to differences”, she said in her response to the Greek MEP.
