Extraordiany defense council meeting ends and lips ar sealed

The extraordinarymeeting of the government council on defense KYSEA, which was held at the Maximos Mansion under Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' chairmanship, and the participation of, among others, the Ministers of Defense, Panos Kammenos, Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias, the Chief of armed forces of Greece, Admiiral Apostolakis and others, has concluded.
Although no statement has been made, according to information, ths council discussed issues of national issues related to the situation in the Aegean, the Northern Border of the country and the Eastern Mediterranean, as well as weapon system procurements.
The situation in the Balkans has been exacerbated by Albanian PM Eddi Rama's irredentist remarks for a "greater Albania," and stated plans to annex Kossovo and parts of FYROM, while in the eastern Aegean Turkish provocations have spiralling out of control.
