A group of miners from Canadian firm Eldorado stormed the ministry of energy in central Athens on Thursday, during tension at a protest rally where workers demanded that the minister issues the remaining licenses for the company.
According to the police, five of the roughly 60 protesters managed to break through the police barrier, break a door and storm the ministry, where they remain until now. Riot police used teargas to dispel them.
