Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce chief meets Tourism Min. Kountoura

New investments and cooperation in tourism dominated the agenda of a meeting of the president of China's the Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce, Jianzhong Lu, members of the chamber and Greek Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura.
During the meeting, they also discussed the prospects for closer cooperation between the Chamber and the Ministry of Tourism, aiming at promoting high-level business travel, including business delegations focusing on investment opportunities.
Jianzhong Lu praised the work of the minister towards the development and international promotion of Greek tourism as well as for her contribution to the strengthening of Greek-Chinese tourism cooperation, and said that the two countries are experiencing the best period of their relations.
At the same time, he stressed that Greece has amazing natural and tourist resources to boast of, and expressed his interest in collaborating with the Ministry of Tourism to develop and promote cultural tourism and implement new tourism projects.
