The Turkish official is said to travel to Xanthi and Komotini in the north of Greece on Thursday evening and Friday, where he will hold meetings with the members of the Muslim minority. According to the plan, Cavusoglu will return to Ankara on Friday night with a flight from “Dimokritos” airport in Alexandropolis.
According to IBNA’s exclusive sources, Cavusoglu’s visit will represent the prelude to the official visit of the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to Athens, most probably on December 4, 2017.
