Taxhounds hit delinquent businesses over Pentecost weekend

The High Authority on Public Revenue (AADE) fell hard during the Pentecost three day weekend, placing padlocks on companies that evaded taxation on islands and on mainland Greece.
In particular:
On the island of Paros, there was a 48-hour closure of a restaurant that had not issued 39 receipts.
Also in Paros, in the tavern "Achinos" in Naoussa Square, the authority imposed a padlock for 7 days for recurrence of infringement.
In Mykonos, AADE personell acted as tourists and spotted an unlicensed Mercedes tourist van.
An event center in Aliveri, Evia hosted a celebration with a turnover of € 3,100 without issuing receipts.
In Kifissia, a 48-hour closure was enforced on a beauty center foront issuing 21 rcceipts.
Finally, in the prefecture of Achaia were identified:
In a potato packing plant, 29 tons worth 11,500 euros, without invoices and in alemonade packing plant, 22 tons worth 11,000 euros, were discovered also without invoice.
