End of Bobolas family reign over Ellaktor construction group

At the general meeting of company shareholders, which took place on Wednesday, 52.85% of the shareholders voted for the Kallitsantsis proposal, with the vote of foreign institutions contributing decisively to the final result.

In the new board of directors formed after the vote of the Kallitsantsi brothers' proposal, George Presovopoulos was invested as Chief Executive Officer Anastasios Kallitsantsis holds the position of President. Dimitris Kallitsantsis, Eleni Papakonstantinou, Despoina Markaki, Alexis Komninos, Takis Dumanoglou, Michalis Katounas and Jordanis Aivazis also participate in the Board of Directors.

The dynamic intervention of Kallitsantis with the Change4Ellaktor initiative aimed to change all the members of the board and was voted by 52.85% of the shares. 46.8% of shareholders voted against the proposal (78% of the shareholders were represented at the general meeting, a record figure for such procedures).

It is noted that the Kallitsantsis brothers have recently invested more than 50 million euros by acquiring ELLAKTOR's shares as a practical move of confidence in the company's capabilities and prospects.
