Tourist agency owned by Albanians attacked with petrol bombs in Athens
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Persons unknown attacked a tourist office on Deligianni Street, in Omonia, with petrol bombs, an hour after midnight.
Immediately afterwards, the perpetrators disappeared, while the attack caused damage to the facade of the office.
According to police sources, the tourist office belongs to Albanian interests, and they are looking into the possibility that the attack may be related to the death of the 35-year-old Greek Albanian Konstantinos Katsifas after an alleged armed clash with Albanian police officers.
It is worth noting that after the death of the 35-year-old, EL.AS., fearing revenge, took measures around possible targets in Athens, embassy, consulate, shops and operations of Albanian interest, but also in prisons.
