Two Albanian detainees, serving sentences for grand thefts and robberies, escaped from Korydallos Prison.
The detainees cut off the bars in their cell in the 4th Korydallos Prison Wing, went out into the small courtyard of the prison, and from there, with a hook and an impromvised rope, jumped over the building's outer wall. An investigation is currently underway on the conditions under which they managed to escape from Korydallos Prison.
