US and Greek marines in joint exercise

A joint exercise was held in the Pagasetic Gulf between the Greek 32nd Marine Brigade and the 1st Army Air Force Brigade with the US 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit - MEU. This is a planned training activity under the Military Cooperation Program between Greece and the USA.
This is not the first time that this particular exercise between the United States and Greek Special Forces is taking place. The Joint Exercise was held in the same area in 2014, with personnel of the 32nd Marine Brigade and the 1st Army Air Force Brigade with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit -MEU.
The Americans are looking for joint training with the Greek Special Forces in the geophysical area of Magnesia, combining multiple battlefields into a unified dimension.
