KINAL furious at Tsipras' cooptation of Center-Left cadres

Featured KINAL furious at Tsipras' cooptation of Center-Left cadres

"With PASOK's leftovers and throwaways and Fellows, one can not constitute the Center-Left" is the message coming from the offices of KINAL concerning Tsipras' cabinet reshuffle.

It may be the first time that the Movement of Change (KINAL) does not seem to worry about the Prime Minister's moves to coopt the center left. That's because they believe that the specific choices (Thanos Moraitis and Angelos Tolkas) will not offer votes nor the "center-left facade" that Alexis Tsipras wants to present at the end.

On the contrary, at KINAL, the Prime Minister's movements are seen as jittery and with a clear logic of "political dealings," resulting in rallying, instead of weakening, the Movement of Change.

"Tsipras would not want KINAL to enter the House [after elections]. He does not realize that the people that now supports our political space are solid. Much more when they see desperate entrance movements as the ones Tsipras is trying," said one experienced PASOK party executive.

Alondg the same line were the comments made by the secretary of KINAL Manolis Christodoulakis. Referring to SYRIZA's attempt to interfere with the center-left, Mr Christoulakis said the SYRIZA government is trying to present the progressive faction and the Social Democrat facade. "The fairy tale is good, but it is now over for SYRIZA, as for all the far-right elements with which it has coexisted"

"SYRIZA's aggressive moves against KINAL, all they are achieving is to rally our base," he said, adding: "Everyone in the election will get the answer they deserve. The democratic faction has come far and it will go far. "
