Hollywood star Tom Hanks is no stranger to Greece, and a great fan of the country thanks to his Greek American wife Rita Wilson.
Bearing in mind their strong relationship, he could not miss his wife’s performance at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center on Saturday evening.
Wilson performed as part of the SNFCC’s Summer Nostos Festival and impressed the audience with her singing. A special highlight was a duet with Christos Mastoras of Melisses fame. Their song, “Let Me Be” was co-written by both and received a warm reception.
Hanks visited Wilson back stage to congratulate her for her great performance, and meet up with Mastoras as well.
Earlier that day, Hanks posted a photo of himself with a vintage tricycle at the Antiparos port on social media heading to Athens for the concert.
Wilson, apart from being a singer is also an actress, writer and producer of hits such as My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Mamma Mia.
