First vote of confidence given to new Mitsotakis govt

The new Mitsotakis government on Monday evening received a vote of confidence by 158 deputies in the 300-MP Parliament, as widely expected, with 142 deputies voting against.
All 158 elected with center-right New Democracy (ND) voted in favor, giving PM Kyriakos Mitsotakis his first vote of confidence and the legal mandate.
