Police search underway to find missing 35-year-old UK woman at Ikaria island

Police began searching on Monday, after the woman's disappearance was reported to the St. Kirikos Ikaria Police Department. 

Officers from Ikaria's fire brigade with two vehicles, a group of volunteers, as well as officers of the Agios Kirikos Port Authority continue their search on both land and waters, including an air search with a helicopter from the Civil Protection Service.

A preliminary investigation into the circumstances of the disappearance is also underway, with the assistance of police officers from the Samos Security Directorate and the Samos Police Department's Criminal Investigations Office.

Pictures of the missing woman have been posted on social media, and any information on the circumstances of her disappearance can be forwarded to the local police on 2275-022222.
